With the help of industry professionals, you’ll be focusing on the importance of milk, building on techniques in order to add that ‘wow’ factor to your coffee! Learn how to steam milk to perfection, the best way to pour, how to etch with a pen, and how to create latte art patterns, such as the heart. It’s all about practice here, and you’ll come away with plenty of newfound knowledge to make café-quality coffee. What's Included? Your class starts promptly at 10.00, so make sure to allow plenty of time for arrival and parking. You’ll meet the industry professionals who’ll be taking your class, and be shown to the dedicated training space. Learn all the techniques needed to take your milk skills to the next stage, including steaming, troubleshooting, pouring, etching and, of course, the latte art! Your day will include loads of practice, so you’ll be sure to come away finding your skills have much improved. Participant guidelines Minimum age: 16 (under 18 years an adult must be present on site) Accompanying adults can use the café facilities downstairs The experience content, equipment used and restrictions may vary Availability The experience is available on every other Saturday from 10.00 to 12.00. Exclusions may apply. We recommend you book at least four weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability. Please allow 2 hours for the full experience. Please do allow plenty of time for arrival and parking. Parking on Saturdays is round the back of the Foundry and you can enter through the loading bay doors. The café will be open on the ground floor. What should I wear? You are advised to dress comfortably. What about insurance? The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence. A cancellation indemnity, subject to terms, is included with every voucher. How it works All you have to do is pay for the experience you wish to purchase and we’ll send a voucher and booking information to you or directly to the recipient, then you just need to check the info and book your experience.
